Over the years I have watched with consternation the antics of cheap amateurs both in society and politics ape their American neighbours, and still come off as rank amateurs.
Just watch the parliamentary channel and the Canadian politicians in it that seem more suited to a comic opera than a political arena.
Every time I switch on the TV set, I do not know whether I am going to see a drama or a story about some meaningless small town in Canada. What makes this a joke it that even those taking part in the story are really suited for the role AT ALL. They come off as people without any talent given a job. Possibly because of connections to someone who is funding the whole shebang. Of course the whole idea is an exercise in futility at best. But the real pity is that most people are forced fed this drivel and made to think that this an achievement, whereas it is really a crying shame, because from beginning to end it is a farce of immense proportions and like the story by Hans Christian Anderson of "The King's New Clothes" no one is aware of how amateurish the actors taking part in it are, but it lacked the little boy who asked why the king hadn't any clothes on?
As for the politicians in Canada they have idea about what they are supposed to do, and are total amateurs in the field of politics. One must keep in mind that they only came for the money and not for the job, and at that rate there are never going to be any experienced politicians in government but only rank amateurs, who do not know their rear end from their elbows.
I have for a long time wanted to vent my disgust and contempt at the way inexperienced people get the jobs while those with experience get the bums rush.
