His Honour Drew Dilkins, Mayor of Windsor, Ontario

Dear Sir,

I am very grateful that you have stood up for the rights of ENGLISH-SPEAKING citizens of Windsor, Ontario.

That the province of Kebek had been permitted by the Liberal regime of Pierre-Elliott to totally remove English as an official language created an anomaly in that it is now assumed that Kebek has the privilege of using only the Joual Language (French patois) while the rest of Canada is forced by federal pressure to be Bilingual. The discriminatory laws which made Kebecbois first class citizens and deemed the English speaking citizens of Canada to be second class were the result of Pierre-Elliott Trudeau's his personal bigotry.

In your decision regarding the City of Windsor, you have given notice that there is no reason whatsoever to promote bilingualism if such does not apply to the province of Kebek. This is both a fair and just decision.

One should not be afraid to demand equality for all the people of Canada. One should not support the idea of a double standard as did the Trudeau regime which created it in 1977 by permitting Kebek to remove English thereby disenfranchising its English-speaking citizens.

You have shown that there is only one status for all Canadians and that the double standard permitted by the Trudeau regime was based upon open discrimination towards people who spoke one of Canada's official languages. You should make it very clear that if Kebek does not treat English as an official language that you will not treat Joual (French patois) as an equal language in your fair city. After all, fair is fair.

I am,
Very sincerely yours,
Kenneth T. Tellis
