I recently sent out a short letter to Colonel James Brown suggesting the need for a FLAG for the English-speaking peoples of Quebec, since all the Metis Groups in Canada who falsely styled themselves as FRANKOs had their own flag for all Canada's English-speaking provinces.
I was told by some IDIOTS who suffer from the STOCKHOLM SYNDROME that the Canadian Flag would suffice for the English-speaking people of Quebec.
Think back to 1974, when the Canadian government of one Pierre-Elliott Trudeau, proposed and supported Robert Bourassa's first pitch at making Quebec a UNILINGUAL province by the passage of Bill 22 on June 22, 1974.
When the Parti Quebecois won the provincial election on November 15, 1976, it came up with a more drastic form of LINGUISTIC DISCRIMINATION and it was passed as Bill 101 in August 1977, without as much as even a mild protest by the Canadian govenment of Pierre-Elliott Trudeau (he was actually very pleased with its outcome, because it fell in with his plans of November 22, 1963.)
When the Conservative Party won the federal election of 1984, Conservative Prime Minister Brian Mulroney made no change in the policy towards Quebec's linguistic laws, and in fact was supportive of it.
A group of of English-speaking residents from Quebec decided to take their case of linguistic discrimination to the United Nations Human Rights Center in Geneva, Switzerland and have it declared illegal since it violated both the spirit and the intent of the the U.N. UNIVERSAL DECLARATION of HUMAN RIGHTS that Canada had signed on December 10, 1948.
On Prime Minister Brian Mulroney's prompting his Justice Minister, one Avril Kim Campbell wrote a letter to the U.N. in Geneva, in which she cast aspersions on the character of the four complainants, by indicating that they were not very stable, and were making frivolous and baseless charges against Quebec.
Now as for those IDIOTS who propose that the Canadian Flag represent the English-speaking people of QUEBEC, why would anyone in their right mind put forward such an INANE proposal given that the federal government of Canada has always supported Quebec's Language Law. Do these idiots suffer from a bad case of STOCKHOLM SYNDROME?
The English-speaking residents of Quebec have long been fighting mortal enemies on two fronts. One is the provincial government of Quebec and the other, its partner in crime, the federal government of Canada (that government which continually persecutes the English-speaking minority in Quebec).
For this reason, the English-speaking community of Quebec needs its very own flag, one which can truly represent it; not the flag of those who have continued to persecute them.
