WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 27-28, 2008) - Congress woos voters with a rare "weekend session" held not long after it voted itself a five weeks off -- and just before it goes missing until after the November elections. Accountability for criminal actions is "out the window." Congress continues to volunteer taxpayers to be its puppets while it acts as puppet master. Its members primp -- television makeup in place -- for the cameras, seeking to impress all with how careful it spends your money. Your money is being used to help the most moneyed become even wealthier. The greediest have set up something almost tragicomic, were it not so arrogant.

Of course, American taxpayers will "bail out" the avaricious lenders! Of course it's okay! "Trust us," Congress says. "We're from the government and we're here to help!" Yeah, right. The emperor is nude, but no one utters a peep.

Why was the Depression referred to as The Great Depression? That was the time the power brokers scooped up real estate for pennies on the dollar and used what was, to them, a "great" opportunity to grind honest working people under their collective heel.

History repeats itself.

The Paulson Buffet is open for business: Americans' freedom is Menu Item HR 3997.
