11/5: 269 - 269 Electoral College Tie

11/5: 269 - 269 Electoral College Tie?

It could happen that Dick Cheney would put Sarah Palin in the Oval Office.

Yes, it is a possibility. True.

Per The Washington Times' "269 tie: An Electoral College 'doomsday'?" dominoes could fall down against the Dems and for the Reps.

The Electoral College tie would yield a Dem-controlled House voting for B. Hussein.

But the Senate would have a clog-up of 50-50 with Joe Lieberman voting with the Reps.

That would toss the ball to Cheney for breaking the tie as he hands the rule over to Sarah Palin.

"'Wow,' said longtime presidential historian Stephen Hess. 'Wow, that would be amazing, wouldn't it?'"

The Times reports: "Sound impossible? It's not. There are at least a half-dozen plausible ways the election can end in a tie. . ."

Yet there are still other possibilities like Joe Biden or Nancy Pelosi acting as acting President, this followed by numerous lawsuits dragging into eternity.
