The Shamrak Report produced by Steven Shamrak presents the Jewish point of view on the Arab-Israel conflict to motivate people to support the Jewish National independence movement, Zionism! You may use articles and letters on your website, FaceBook etc.(Comments in brackets are made by Steven Shamrak)

AIPAC - Predictable Nothingness!

Benjamin Netanyahu delivered one of his weakest speeches at AIPAC. He said exactly what his audience wanted to hear about Iran, the boycotts against Israel and Israel's moral superiority compared to other countries in the region - but he failed to shed new light on any of these topics. (The biggest problem Israel has is a lack of clear national direction, which cannot be defined in fear of international 'outrage')

Netanyahu's lackluster speech is the reason he failed to inspire 1,400 of Israel's US supporters, Jews and non-Jews, who gathered in a conference hall in Washington.

Netanyahu's policy had the unequivocal support of leading figures among the American Jewish religious movements, liberal and conservative as one. (When are liberal and conservative are on the same page this is definitely a sign of a big problem, indicating that most American Jews do not know or care about future of Israel - as it is well known that "two Jews have three opinions"!)

Netanyahu refrained from praising President Obama and did not compliment him even once - considered unusual in such occasions. However, he spared no words of affection for the inexhaustible US Secretary of State John Kerry, in appreciation of his efforts on the Palestinian issue. While Netanyahu did praise Israeli-American relations, the fact that he did not have one good word for the president indicates a harsh disagreement.

Secretary of State John Kerry - whom the administration sent rather than President Barack Obama or Vice President Joe Biden - came to AIPAC with a lot of selling to do on behalf of the Obama administration's ambitions for the Middle East.

Kerry called on that sensibility, and his 30-year relationship with Israel and AIPAC, to urge support for the efforts to revive the Israeli-Palestinian peace process (which both sides, PA and Israel, are not interested in) and to get Iran to agree to abandon its nuclear program.

Kerry did his best to reassure pro-Israel activists that the President really is a friend and faithful ally to the Jewish state (a true friend does not need to resort to verbal 'convincing'; the deed speaks better than words). The crowd responded with light (polite) applause and a short standing ovation as he left the stage. (Were they just happy that he left the stage?)

Senator John McCain stole the show earlier in the day, winning multiple, rousing, standing ovations from the largely Democrat audience by excoriating President Obama's "feckless foreign policy." (More likely, fake and amateur and foreign policy which discredited the United States and has further weakened the US international standing!)

Jewish Schizophrenia

by Caroline Glick

In its annual survey of American Jewry published last October, the American Jewish Committee found that 75 percent of American Jews agree with the statement, "The goal of the Arabs is not a peaceful two-state agreement with Israel, but rather the destruction of Israel."

And yet, American Jews supported the establishment of a Palestinian state 50% to 47%. Next week over 10,000 predominantly Jewish American supporters of Israel will gather in Washington at AIPAC's annual policy conference. Given their high commitment to Israel, probably most of those gathered belong to the 47% of American Jews who opposed Palestinian statehood. Yet at the conference they will embrace the two-state formula. And on March 4 they will go up to Capitol Hill and tell their representatives that they support it...

Friendly Backstabbing

The United States believes there is no need for the Palestinian Authority (PA) to recognize Israel as a Jewish state as part of a peace agreement, State Department Spokeswoman Jen Psaki. Psaki, who spoke to the PA-based Arabic-language Al-Quds newspaper, said, "The American position is clear, Israel is a Jewish state. However, we do not see a need that both sides recognize this position as part of the final agreement." Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has been adamant on the PA recognizing Israel as a Jewish state, explaining that the Arabs' refusal to recognize Israel stands at the heart of the conflict.

Food for Thought by Steven Shamrak

In order to prevent Jews from taking full control of the Jewish land, international bigots in the United Nation declared in 1947 that "population transfer", which had been used quite successfully as a tool of conflict resolution, is illegal. Now, in order to be in line with the Geneva convention, they introduced a new terminology - "humanitarian relocation" - which performs the same function as "population transfer" used to! Time has come for Israel to execute "humanitarian relocation" of terror infested occupiers from Jewish land!

Israeli Police Stormed the Temple Mount

Israeli police stormed the holy site after 20 masked Palestinian youths hurled stones and firecrackers at troops from the top of the Temple Mount. Police then entered the compound and arrested three people. Two officers were slightly wounded.

  • (The Temple Mount is the holiest Jewish site! Israel must take control of it.)

While Knesset Debates, Jordan Takes a "Solid stand"

47 Jordanian MPs call to cancel Israel peace treaty over Knesset Temple Mount debate, calling for a "strong and solid stand" against the Knesset. In the peace treaty signed between the two governments nearly 20 years ago, Israel acknowledged the Hashemite Kingdom's "special role" in the custodianship of the holy sites in Jerusalem.

  • (Israel must change the ugly status quo. The Holiest site of Judaism is controlled by enemies, who have no respect for Jewish heritage and have been destroying evidence of Jewish presence in Eretz-Israel. Any archeological work in Jordan, South Lebanon, Sinai or Northern Saudi Arabia is restricted or forbidden!)

'Friendly' Criticism?

A report published by the US State Depart said that Israel uses exaggerated force against Palestinians in the West Bank and limits their freedom of movement.

  • (Do US solders use M16 rifles only against Taliban fighters with Kalashnikovs? How many civilians became a "collateral damage" in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan ? Bigots have no rights to criticize Israel!)

Hamas Banned in Egypt

Assets seized and offices ordered shut as court rules to ban all activities of the group that runs neighbouring Gaza Strip. Hamas is an offshoot of Egypt 's Muslim Brotherhood, which has been declared a terrorist group by Egypt. Egyptian authorities see Hamas a major security threat, accusing the group of supporting al-Qaeda-inspired fighters in the Sinai peninsula. Saudi Arabia has also listed the Brotherhood as a 'terrorist' group, as the kingdom cracks down on those it sees as threats.

  • (Israel has to adopt the same attitude and remove Hamas and its supporting population from Jewish land)

Will Obama Listen?

US President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met in the White House. Regarding the negotiations with the PA, Obama praised Netanyahu and said that there are "very important and difficult issues" being discussed in the negotiations, and Netanyahu "takes them all seriously." Netanyahu told Obama that he should place pressure on the Palestinian Authority (PA) if he wants peace talks to progress - not on Israel. Netanyahu also said the greatest challenge is Iran 's nuclear program. He said he'll do, in his words, "whatever I must do to defend the Jewish state."

  • (Obama claimed, during an interview with Bloomberg's Jeffrey Goldberg, that Abbas is a willing partner for peace. Is he delusional or an unscrupulous liar?)

'Friendly' Arab Neighbors

The national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways, which receives $425,000 a year from the US government, displays every country in the region, from Cyprus to Iraq . The Jewish State does not appear on maps presented to the airline's travelers. The Emirati airline refuses to provide transport to Israeli passengers.

  • (Another 'small matter' is conveniently 'overlooked' by the US government!)

Another 'Friendly' Gesture

The United States has quietly instituted a policy of denying visa requests from members of Israel's security services. There are hundreds of cases in which members of the Shin Bet and Mossad, and workers in Israel's defense industries, have been told they cannot visit America. The US. State Department is increasingly rejecting visa requests from Israeli citizens. Data released by the State Department showed an 80% increase in the number of visa request rejections in 2013.

Economic Migrants Leaving Israel

A total of 1,705 African migrants agreed to leave Israel voluntarily in February, said Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar. The number is the largest single monthly total yet, coming after 765 who left in January, 325 in December and 63 in November. The massive exodus from Israeli cities is further proof that these are migrant workers mainly who moved here for work.

Israel intercepts Gaza-bound weapons haul

Israel intercepted a ship in the Red Sea carrying Syrian-made "advanced weaponry" being shipped from Iran to Hamas in Gaza . Forty surface-to-surface M302 Syrian-manufactured rockets were found with a range of up to 130 kilometres with warheads of 175 kilograms. "We hope that this operation will be an awakening to the Western world, to the P5+1, in regard to the real intentions of this smiling, rogue regime (Iran )" said Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon.

'Ugly Nothing' Quiet about Iran Nuclear Weapons Program

Israel urged the UN nuclear watchdog agency to go public with all information it has regarding suspicions that Iran researched how to build an atomic bomb. "The role of the IAEA is to expose to the international community all information regarding military aspects of the Iranian nuclear project, and not to withhold it for reasons of diplomatic sensitivity," Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Yuval Steinitz said in a statement.

Quotes of the Week:

"Today, it's already impossible to distinguish between anti-Semitism and anti-Israelism. Modern anti-Semites have turned 'the Jewish problem' into 'the Israeli problem.' They have redirected the 'final solution' from the Jews to the State of Israel..." - Prof. Monika Schwarz-Friesel, Technical University of Berlin. See: Educated Mainstream: The Bastion of Western anti- Semitism

  • It is said "Israel has become the Jew among nations". International anti-Semites tell Israel to make concessions that will destroy the Jewish state.

US Will not Defend Israel

It is a historically proven fact that allies can't rely on the US!

Israel can expect to face international isolation and possible sanctions from countries and companies across the world if Benjamin Netanyahu fails to endorse a framework agreement with the Palestinians, US President Barack Obama cautioned Israel ahead of a meeting with the Prime Minister Netanyahu.

  • (What an arm-twisting and blackmailing and blatant pressuring attitude toward Israel. There is no other state that is subjected to or would tolerate it!)

Not long before AIPAC, US President Obama publicly embarrassed the Prime Minister of Israel, Netanyahu, by saying during an interview with Bloomberg View columnist Jeffrey Goldberg that if Netanyahu "does not believe that a peace deal with the Palestinians is the right thing to do for Israel, then he needs to articulate an alternative approach. It's hard to come up with one that's plausible.

  •  (There are several alternatives to current Two-State Solution option - International bigots don't want to hear about them!)

He did not ask Abbas the same question (he only embarrassed the Israeli PM) . Obama continued with saying: "If Palestinians come to believe that the possibility of a contiguous (West Bank and Gaza are not connected - only on a PA's map, with no Israel!) sovereign Palestinian state is no longer within reach, then our ability to manage the international fallout is going to be limited."

Obama further stated that in his opinion, PA President Mahmoud Abbas "has proven himself to be somebody who has been committed to nonviolence and diplomatic efforts to resolve" the conflict.

  • (How has Abbass proven his commitment to peace - by his intention to destroy Israel? Praising terrorists who kill Jews is his way to show commitment to peace!)

Israel is the Best Strategic Partner

The US House of Representatives approved a bill that changes Israel's status into one of a "strategic partner" of the United States. The new status will provide Israel with various security benefits, among them priority in receiving American weapons surpluses.

  • (Sadly, the United States is also suffering from Schizophrenia!)
