English Translation of Arutz 7 Hebrew article
"To Explain to the Public the Dangers of the Delusion of Peace"

The Women in Green movement is continuing to advance the idea of the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

After the three huge conferences held under the banner calling for the implementation of sovereignty, the movement's heads, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, are continuing with activities for its advancement.

In recent days the movement's leadership held a special meeting of the sovereignty steering committee that is planning the public activity for the advancement of the idea. Additional ideas were raised in the meeting for accelerating the process, in both the political and public arenas in Israel.

During the meeting, Israel Prize laureate Geulah Cohen, a steering committee member who also hosted the meeting in her home, stated that "it is important to explain to the public and show it the damages that Israel will suffer as a result of the illusion of peace."

"Today, many understand that the 'two states' slogan is a lie. The public is ready for the alternative: the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria."

Geulah Cohen negated the fear raised in certain circles of the response by the world, primarily the United States. "When I initiated the Jerusalem and Golan Law, it was threatened that the sun would not rise the next day. With G-d's help, the sun continues to rise, the skies didn't fall, and so it will be, with G-d's help, when Israel will apply its sovereignty over Judea and Samaria."

In the meeting, the participants reviewed the public influence of the three large conferences that were held to now by the Women in Green movement. The first two conferences were held in Hebron, and the third, in Jerusalem on the eve of the election. The three conferences brought together some 2,500 participants from throughout Israel and abroad. The conferences also aroused an extensive public response in both the political and diplomatic arenas in Israel.

Katsover and Matar report that the members of the movement are now engaged in the continued activity for the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. The two give a little taste of what can be expected in the coming months. First and foremost, an additional major conference is planned, alongside which a number of smaller in-depth conferences that will be held throughout Israel.

Additionally, a lobby will be established in the Knesset in order to expand the circle of Members of Knesset, government ministers, and political figures who support the move, that is receiving enthusiastic responses among the Israeli public.

Cohen further proposed changing the name of the State of Israel to the State of Eretz Israel, in order to include in this new-old expression the clear heritage and distinct historical context of the Jewish people and its land. Cohen also added that those who explain Eretz Israel must not abandon the matter of the Edmond Levy Report, and not refrain from placing it on the public agenda.

Yoram Ettinger spoke in the meeting of the informational need to emphasize sharp, clear messages regarding the strategic security importance of Judea and Samaria in the age of missiles. He likewise suggested championing the fact that became clear in the Edmund Levy Report, that the State of Israel is not an occupier of this area.

Ettinger further suggested freeing ourselves of the primal fear that possesses politicians and public figures in Israel of harming diplomatic relations with America. He asserted that emphasis must be placed on a Palestinian state being bad for the Americans, and not only for Israel.

Journalist Eran Bar-Tal said that the small conferences should rightly be held throughout Israel; Facebook pages should be opened, to maintain lively contact with the supporters of the settlement enterprise and the idea of the application of sovereignty.
