Translation of Hebrew Arutz 7 press release

The Women in Green movement congratulates the government for the steps that it has taken in reaction to Abu Mazen joining with his brothers in Hamas and calls for the application of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria.

Following the political steps and decisions that the security cabinet has taken, the Women in Green movement congratulates the government, its head and its ministers for the recent resolutions, which the movement sees as an opportunity and perhaps the beginning of an awakening in Israeli policy.

"Freezing the diplomatic talks and imposing economic sanctions on the PA are the first steps we must take as a result of the criminal joining of the Palestinian Authority with Hamas", say the heads of the movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar.

The two women say that "if the State of Israel returns to sanity, the world will also follow in its footsteps. We hope that the abnormal reality in which we have lived until now will end; this reality of releasing terrorists, of protecting Abu Mazen's regime, of feeding this Hamas-run Gaza Strip, which spits rockets toward the Jewish communities".

The movement calls on the government of Israel "to demonstrate resolve" with the conviction that "only good will come of the collapse of the Palestinian Authority", in the words of Katsover and Matar. "Israel is now beginning to take the correct course. We must continue and carry out initiatives. We must apply Israeli sovereignty over Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley".

"It is the Almighty Who leads us in this vital process. We must seize this opportunity with both capable hands and open eyes and stop the self-intimidation that we have been engaging in until this point". Katsover and Matar continue and say to those who wonder if Israel will be able to rule the territory and its residents answering: "Indeed, yes, of course. This is our Land. The more resolute we are, the more clear, the more reality will advance and change in our favor".

The heads of Women in Green seal their words with an unequivocal statement: "There is a historical opportunity arising. This is the time to apply Israeli sovereignty over the Land of Israel. We know that with G-d's help, the days of Nisan and Iyar can give rise to historic events.

May The Almighty strengthen us in this crucial time and bring good news."
