I have two passions in my life: the first one is traveling and the second one only came about after I retired to become the full time caregiver of my first wife, Pat, after she became paralyzed --that passion is writing novels.
I was very fortunate to have spent my life in the parking industry working with cities, universities, and hospitals, selling parking meters; as a consultant, and as an operator of parking systems. This work took me to sixty-five countries on six continents and to forty-five states in the USA.
My first wife, Pat, passed away after I served as her caregiver for six years. After she passed away I remarried and my wife, Karen, likes to travel as much as I do. We continue to travel and I have added ten more countries to my list of countries visited.
I began writing novels as an outlet from my caregiver duties and wrote and published five books. The first book was about my life, called Together Forever, and getting married at sixteen and telling the story about the first forty- five years of our marriage and my work in the parking industry.
My other four books were about the CIA battle with al-Qaeda by using locations around the world that I had worked in and trying to stop their various plots to harm America. These books are: Dangerous Food; Dangerous Cargo; Dangerous Enemy and Dangerous Journey.
After I started writing novels I found I had a real passion to continue writing novels and will always hope to write good stories. My latest novels are: The Power of Love, the continuing story of Together Forever about caring for my first wife Pat until her death and then marrying Karen.
I have recently published two westerns: Indian Leader Trail Boss and Where's My Wife? I am a big fan of western stories and western movies, and I had people ask me to write western novels after they had read some of my Dangerous books.
Currently, I'm working on a third western novel scheduled to be published early next year about a couple of cowboys who have lots of troubles in New York City.
I plan to keep writing novels and traveling to new places as long as my wife and I are healthy enough and lucky enough to do it.
