Where: Eddington-Clifton Civic Center (1387 Main Road, Rt. 9) in Eddington http://www.cominshall.org/

When: Sat. Sep. 10 and Sun. Sep. 11ยท 1:00pm - 4:00pm

We will be reading from the script.
Monologues are welcome, but not necessary.
The cast has 13 men, 4 women.

'A charming rogue contrives to serve a short sentence in an airy mental institution rather in a prison. This, he learns, was a mistake. He clashes with the head nurse, a fierce martinet. Quickly, he takes over the yard and accomplishes what the medical profession has been unable to do for twelve years; he makes a presumed deaf and mute Indian talk. He leads others out of introversion, stages a revolt so that they can see the world series on television, and arranges a rollicking midnight party with liquor and chippies. For one offense, the head nurse has him submit to shock treatment. The party is too much for her and she forces him to submit to a final correction.'

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest will be performed at the Eddington-Clifton Civic Center (Comins Hall) Nov. 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12 at 7PM and Nov. 6 and 13 at 2PM with possible performances at Center Theatre in Dover-Foxcroft Nov. 18 and 19.
