CARSON CITY, Nevada, (December 2, 2014) -- Cheetah Learning, a leading PMI Registered Education Provider (PMI-REP) of Project Management training, announced that it will be launching a new scholarship program for single mothers to earn Project Management certifications. The company stated that it will be awarding $50,000 in scholarships to 100 single moms/dads who meet eligibility criteria. The program will run from December 1 through December 31, 2014.

Michelle LaBrosse, CEO and founder of Cheetah Learning, explained that providing scholarships to single mothers pays great dividends. "Give the single mother the ability to create better opportunities in her life," said LaBrosse. "When you inspire a single mother to master critical key skills for success in life in how she learns, how she does her projects and how she negotiates, you not only help her succeed, you also help her children succeed as well."

LaBrosse herself has been a single mother for the past 20 years. She raised her two children by herself from the ages of three and five to the successful young adults they are today. Her proudest accomplishment is saving all the money they needed to go to college so that both of them were able to start in their post-college lives without debt. LaBrosse said, "By using the techniques mastered in becoming a Cheetah Certified Project Manager, other single moms can set similar goals to help their children succeed."

LaBrosse stated that she believes helping other single mothers develop Project Management skills has the potential to have great impact on these women's lives, and this is why Cheetah Learning decided to develop the scholarship program.

"Single moms master techniques in the Cheetah Certified Project Management course to get better results faster with less effort," LaBrosse said. "Granted, while getting better results faster and with less effort is something worthwhile for most people to do, for single mothers it's a survival imperative - she juggles all the demands of caring for her family by herself."

Scholarship recipients will receive a $500 scholarship for the Cheetah Certified Project Manager program. They will begin the program in January 2015 and earn a Project Management certification within three months of starting the program.
