On behalf of Ken Anderson, the Owner and Operator of Magic City Morning Star News, I would like to take this opportunity to inform our readers that we have some new contributors to the newspaper and we look forward to publishing their articles on a regular basis.

Today, Sunday 19th February 2012 there is M. Wallace Johnson's first contribution titled: 'Holy, Wholly or Holey? - Moses, and Jerrold L. Sobel's article titled: 'There Was Never a Country called Palestine'.

We also appreciate recent contributions on the topic of Education from Jan Pierce (The Benefits of Social Media in the Classroom) and Vanessa Lang (The Lack of Financial Education in Today's Youth)

We also appreciate articles which from time to time are sent to us by the Asian American Center for Advancing Justice (Diversity in Education)

With many of our writers having 'disappeared' over time, it is reassuring to find others to replace them. We wholeheartedly welcome them to Magic City Morning Star News.

And of course we welcome all input from our readers. We do invite you to send in emails and comments and if you wish to submit stories, articles and photographs, by all means feel free to do so. Please post submissions to

Please do not send emails and other items directly to Ken Anderson (who for sometime now has left publishing to me) for, as locals may or may not know, Ken has been recovering from quite a serious illness.

We wish him well with his recovery.
