Obama Sings, "If Agreeing With You Is Wrong, I Don't Want To Be Wright"

Bull Connor is alive and well. Maybe leopards can't change their spots, but this bigot has changed his color. He has since retired his fire hose and attack dog, relocated to Chicago, changed duds from a police uniform to clergical vestments, and now wields a microphone and a cross instead of a gun and a nightstick to spread his vitriol. Oh yeah, and his protege wants to be our next President. Martin Luther King once had a dream, but these two birds have turned it into a nightmare.

At about this time, we have now heard, ad nauseum, the racist, separatist, anti-American vitriol of Jeremiah Wright, and no, I won't call him "Reverend," any more than I would waste that honorable distinction on his fellow race baiters, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. These pillars of pus are each the antithesis of anything even remotely "reverend."

We have heard Wright blather on about the "US of KKK," calling for God to damn America instead of blessing it, incessantly bashing rich white men of privilege, while denying that one of his alleged devout followers, Barack Obama, is included in that group, despite his Ivy League education and $1.3 million dollar Chicago home. We have heard Wright's ignorant and fiery bilge about the CIA infecting urban blacks with AIDs, smuggling drugs into the ghettos and then enacting 3 Strikes laws and building more prisons. He ravaged America for defending ourselves against the current war on terror and nuking Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II, saying that we deserved and brought on 9/11 and that our chickens (or roosters) were "coming home to roost." (He piped up with that endearing little ditty just a few days after the 9/11 attacks, and to a cheering congregation. These cheerleading cretins weren't Palestinian Muslims in Gaza. They were black Christian Americans in Chicago.) As someone who vividly remembers September 11th, and whose father served in the South Pacific during World war II and was soon to be enroute to what would have been a suicidal battle in heavily armed and entrenched Tokyo Bay, this American won't apologize for either event. One event could have killed me, and in fact, killed two family friends. Had the other event not happened, the war would have continued, many more Americans, including my father, would have been killed in Tokyo Bay alone, and I never would have been born. General Sherman was right, back during the Civil War. War is Hell. And to sum it all up, as far as I am concerned, Jeremiah Wright can go straight to Hell. As a matter of fact, maybe I'm not too far off in that prediction.

The Book of Matthew, Chapter 7, verses 15-21 warns us to beware of false prophets who are really "ravenous wolves" in "sheep's clothing." The passage goes on to detail that we can tell the quality of a tree but the quality, or lack thereof, of its fruit. Our planet probably has more religions that Baskin-Robbins has ice cream flavors. Most of the mainstream religions of any worth all pretty much preach the same common sense and common courtesy: Love thy neighbor. This quack, Wright, is no man of God any more than the Pharisees were men of God. His church is a filthy farce of Christianity, an abomination, more deserving of a ball and crane than a generous plate offering. Men of God don't spread that ugly filth. I don't care what Obama says about what good works this hateful charlatan has done. Robin Hood was charitable, too, but he was also still a thief. Don't spit venom into my face and try to pawn it off as Holy water. I'm ugly, not stupid.

For all their spin, I sometimes think that the letter "D" that precedes the names of some liberals should stand for "Dizzy" instead of "Democrat." When Dubya named Dick Cheney as his running mate, the term of the day was "gravitas." Today, the current theme of the week is "guilt by association." The Dems (except in Hillary's camp) are pointing fingers at conservatives and Republicans for painting Obama with the same broad brush as his buddy, Pastor "Blight." OK, fair enough. Let's take a closer look at that paint job.

We have "Big Bad, Mama Michelle Obama," who actually outdid herself once again by still managing to fit one of those aircraft carrier feet of hers into that vast, infinite abyss she calls her mouth. Done with sabotaging her husband's campaign by constantly insulting, ridiculing and demeaning him, her latest stunt was to yap that when voters started voting for her husband, it was the first time in her life that she was ever proud of her country. This pushy, egotistical, big-mouthed ignorant dropout of the Theresa Heinz-Kerry Charm School scarcely qualifies to be "Last Woman," let alone "First Lady." Lest I forget, Big Bad Mama also said that "America is downright mean," but coming from someone who gets bit by her own dog whenever she walks through the door at home, that little pearly gem of wisdom carries more bluster than luster.

Then we have hubby of Mama Obama earlier in the campaign make a ludicrous public stand that he would no longer wear a flag lapel pin. Remember that little tidbit of patriotism? He claimed that too many people abuse that symbol as their proof of patriotism. Fair enough, Barack. What have you done?

Now, Obama says he rejects Wright's many vitriolic statements, only a few of which I listed, but he does not repudiate Wright himself. Why? Wright rambled on with many curse-laden rants rejecting whites and even the United States. Is this tolerance what we can accept from a "President Obama?"

Giving further credence to the conspicuous possibility that Obama himself embraces this gutter trash mindset, by his own definition, he has devoutly belonged to this church for 20 years. "Blight" married Obama & Big Bad Mama, and baptized their two girls. Within two days, Obama first said that he never heard any of these statements "Blight" made when he sat in the pews. "Pastor Blight" made these many statements many times over several years. Just how many masses did this allegedly devout 20-year parishioner who never heard this vitriol "in the pews" miss? The next day, Obama broached the subject again, rhetorically asking the question if he knew of "Blight's" outrageous statements and beliefs, and he then answered his own question by snidely replying, "Of course." OK, President Wannabe, which of your contradictory statements is the lie? So much for "change." If we believe the second statement, then obviously Obama shares "Blight's" beliefs, as further supported by his own anti-American remarks and the equal if not worse anti-American sentiment by his wife, Big Bad Mama Michele Obama. As my sage mother, a walking encyclopedia of clichés would say, "Birds of a feather flock together." Truly, a disturbing pattern is emerging here. And kudos to radio talk show host, Sean Hannity, the first, or one of the first, I believe, who long ago exposed this insidious side to Obama's underbelly, and has been banging that drum ever more fervently ever since, and with new examples and incidents. As Hannity has said, Obama supporters are supporting a candidate that they know little of, if anything at all, as he often quizzes people to name one thing Obama has accomplished to no avail, and for good reason. Obama's supporters are supporting a mirage. And the bottom line is because he is as black as he is charismatic. For all our haughtiness about finally having a black presidential candidate (I guess Alan Keyes doesn't count), we have nothing to brag about yet. Race is still a factor. We haven't gotten over it. And now we see, that contrary to popular belief, an equal, if not larger part of that racism is from the black side of the spectrum and is further being increasingly fueled by "the compassionate" ones, our pals, the liberals. And yes, I am unabashedly gloating! I have bad habit of doing that whenever a bright light is illuminated over sheer hypocrisy.

During his rants, Wright also vehemently castigated Oprah Winfrey, Colin Powell, Condoleezza rice, and Tiger Woods. I suppose that would also explain him also avoiding naming Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, and yes, Alan Keyes. I get it. These folks don't fit Wright's tight and restrictive mold. Successful blacks are misfits and conservative blacks are "Uncle Toms." We can't exactly keep the pity party and the racial divide of a tainted yesteryear going if we keep attributing personal accountability to "off the reservation" black success stories and depicting America as truly being a land of opportunity for those seeking a hand up instead of a hand out. Wright is the Ghost of America's Past, being obscured by the shadow of the greatness of America's present. He's more than a bitter old man who has outlived his time and is still yesterday's news. He's damaged goods. Like bad indigestion after a good meal, Wright and his ilk, be they black white, red, yellow, purple or green, are something that turned and stayed bad, despite something good, and are refusing to leave gracefully anytime soon.

Obama was also one of the crew to jump on the bandwagon when Don Imus had his recent racial woes. Imus runs a ranch for kids with cancer. I don't recall hearing Obama citing Imus's good deeds. Oh, yeah, that's right! I keep forgetting, Robin Hood was white, too!

Obama is divider, not a uniter. He's just more subtle and conniving, and not as in-your-face about it like his bombastic preacher, Pastor Blight. Obama smoothly pooh-poohed and sidestepped the Pastor Blight landmine by distracting us with a fluffy talk about race. To paraphrase sales parlance, this tactic was the old "(race) bait and switch." Meanwhile, Big Bad Mama Michelle Obama gleefully cheered him on. Obama and the close minions he has chosen and still chooses to surround himself with for decades now are not part of the solution. They're part of the problem. Many flags can be strung together, but a rigid pole is still needed to unite them all. Obama is part chameleon and part amoeba. How this articulate, Harvard and Columbia educated man from the Midwest can speak so eloquently and charismatically to white audiences and then don his phony southern black accent to pander to black audiences with his nauseating shuck and jive routine is as equally as putrid and abhorrent as when the other phony, Hillary Clinton, does the exact same thing in the exact same circumstances on the stump, "And you knoooow what I'm taaaalking a-bout!"

This has been a campaign of utter, shallow silliness. We get empty platitudes about change and middle of the night telephone calls instead of real issues. It's tit for tat and he said/she said. Bill Clinton, Hillary's campaign Achilles Heel (Also known as a "Michelle"), made a crude analogy and racial reference to Obama's campaign and that of Jesse Jackson some years back. An Obama staffer got canned for calling Hillary a "monster." "A monster?" Wow! I bet they would have flogged her if she called Hillary a boo-boo head. On the other side of the sandbox, Geraldine Ferraro said Obama would not be where he is if he was not black. And she was right. Obama has no resume of real experience or accomplishment, no name recognition outside of Chicago, and literally is a rising star because he is black, and speaks well (in several dialects, no less). Ferraro even acknowledged that she was picked for Mondale's ticket because she was a woman, despite other perspective candidates being more qualified than her. But she still got her campaign pick slip, too. So I guess now Obama had to finally take a stand and draw a line in the sand (in the sandbox), so he defended his pal, Pastor Blight, even though he kicked him off his campaign, a tactical obligation. But Blight was Obama's spiritual advisor. About what, hating "The Red, WHITEY, And Blue"?

Perhaps the one "accomplishment" Obama can lay claim to is also the sadly satirical definition of his brand of Christianity. Obama has a well-established record of thwarting legislation to protect infants who survived induced labor for intention of abortion. More succinctly, that's called infanticide. His quoted reasoning was that he would otherwise have to rethink Roe vs. Wade. OK, well....

Hannity and others have also shown ties to former Weathermen terrorists Donald Ayers and Bernadine Dorn to Obama. For that matter, Pastor Blight once traveled to Libya with Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan to meet Mu'ammar al-Qadhafi. Farrakhan was also given an award by Blight in the cesspool he calls a church. Some have said that Obama had to make inroads with Chicago politicos like Ayers and Dorn (now college professors) and so-called black community leaders like Blight to make his political bones when starting out. I guess that's kind of like a young girl getting into doing porno flicks in hopes that such "acting" someday leads her to a bigger, better, (and clothed) career in Hollywood. Nobody is speculating why Obama got tied up with a character like Tony Rezko in a questionable real estate deal (regarding that same $1.3 million home) though, as his corruption scandal continues to play out in the courtroom. As for Obama, he only speculated "It was a mistake."

Obama should have renamed his book to "The Audacity Of A Dope." There is a continually escalating whirlwind around this guy's head like that dark cloud that hung over Joe Btfsplk's head in "Lil' Abner." Circling within that whirlwind is bigotry, anti-American vitriol and corruption. This isn't rocket science. Either this guy is a clinical idiot, bereft of all good judgment, or he is as dirty as sin himself, and thus devoid of any true core character. In either case, his empty resume aside (besides defending infanticide), he is unfit to be our President and Commander in Chief. For that matter, I consider this man to be a potential threat and an enemy to our nation. For that matter, I believe that he is also unworthy of even being a US Senator (Hey, stop laughing! I really mean it!).

Perhaps this aspiring President, still quite wet behind those open taxi doors he calls ears, might take a lesson from our first President who did get it right, especially when he once sagely opined, "Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation. It is better to be alone than in bad company."

I never knew George Washington, but I do know this: Barack Obama is no George Washington.
