A few months ago I learned about free IrfanView photo software for properly sizing the photos I post on the Internet. It turns out that IrfanView can also bring out the best in my digitally filed photos. Then I went onto the Flickr photo sharing site and put many, many hours in working on comprehensive sets of photographs. There is one photo set of my too short but totally fantastic times in 1969 era Maine. The set that I believe most anyone can enjoy seeing is "Pup to Pro Photographer: My Portfolio", which is 45 Years of photographs and paragraphs from my life and adventures. There's oodles of entertaining photography and written work on there. It includes photographs from back in my early teen years and right on up to today.
You can easily locate it all by web searching two words -- flickr ursusdave.
Here is a link to the slide show of my portfolio. I honestly feel that many of you will enjoy it.
Here's the link to all of my photo sets on Flickr. This amounts to the achievement of one of my life's hardest earned goals. Because, basically, these photographs and paragraphs reveal the best and most fun parts of my autobiography.
45 Years of photographs and paragraphs
from the life and adventures of a former
Rock n' Roll kid from the Dundalk
suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland who is an
ex-Maine Bear Hunting Guide, and a
county women's delight, a former US Army
Photographer who later enjoyed times as
a hitchhiking Hippie Type Hobo. And is
now a widely known and well appreciated
photographer and writer on the World
Wide Web.
