| When it rains the surface of the lake forms a perfect mirror |
This photo was lifted from a Powerpoint presentation received in an email. It is taken at the Uyuni salt lake of Tunupa in Bolivia. The lake covers 12,000 square kms which makes it the biggest salt lake in the world. It is located 3,650 meters up in the mountains and is considered one of the 7 natural marvels of the world. When it rains the surface of the lake forms a perfect mirror. (Previous photo October 7th, 2011)
