From Magic City Morning Star|
On Sundays we publish the regular book basket which highlights (no more than 15) new book releases by providing publicity material sent by publicists.
To ease pressure on the regular book basket, in March we inaugurated the 'Christian Book Basket Magic City' which is published irregularly on a Wednesday. In that basket we highlight whatever Christian books have come to our attention during the previous weeks. We also occasionally do a 'Childrens Book Basket.'
We offer all authors a "no-pay no-charge" self-promotions offer to provide 'stand alone' articles within which we will publish bios, book cover photographs and links to purchase pages for their book release. This is not an offer to rehash publicity material, but to offer our readers something interesting to read. As we have no regular contributor to our Christianity section, Christian writers are welcome to write on any Christian topic.
We now only have one regular Christian book reviewer and are looking for more.

Parker tries to play the expert, but he is clearly in over his head. Drawn ever deeper into a web of intrigue involving a demanding detective, a trio of secretive Vatican operatives, and a centuries-old conspiracy to conceal a mysterious relic, he realizes for the first time that the battle between good and evil is all too real--and that the killer is coming back . . . this time for him.
Reviews for this book are extremely positive. The book is well written, holds the readers attention and mixes just enough supernatural element to give the storyline a twist not found in other books of this genre.

"Proof God Exists"
by Gene Peterson
Believers sometimes need to see proof of God's existence, even with believing. Non-believers sometimes experience phenomena they can't explain, but they don't believe. Author Gene Peterson explores such phenomenon in his new book.
"Proof God Exists" by Gene Peterson provides great insight into God's love. In his book, Peterson provides evidence from within his own life, history and archeology to prove that God does exist.
"I was led 40 years in a spiritual desert, where the Holy Spirit was free to teach. He taught me and millions of others Bible mysteries, truths of heaven, angels and fulfilled prophecy," Peterson said. "He created archaeology and history to maintain the original meaning of His Word.
Peterson has overcome a difficult childhood and life full of sin, finding sanctuary within the word of the Bible and religious studying. Peterson studied biblical archaeology and world history, and taught Bible classes at both churches and prisons. Through these studies, Peterson has developed a close relationship and strong understanding of the word of the Bible.
According to Peterson, God is full of endless love for sinners and saints alike, and prepares us all for heaven while we live in this truly spiritual world. It simply takes opening ones eyes and taking in the many miracles that happen all around us on a daily basis to see that God really does exist.
Gene Peterson lives in Thermopolis, Wyoming. Peterson has taught Bible classes in several churches and jails. Additionally, having read the Bible from cover to cover 17 times and studying both biblical archaeology and world history, Peterson hopes to share the word of God's love and existence to people across the world.

"Sign of the Red Heifer and the Four Horsemen"
by Melissa W. Lake
"The Sign of the Red Heifer and the Four Horsemen" is Lake's true story. Upon moving to her new farm, Lake began to notice miraculous things were happening--prophesied signs of the end of days were showing up on Lake's farm. "The Bible teaches that with God, there are no accidents. If that is the case, then what is happening at my farm is truly miraculous," Lake said.
Her pure red heifer was born in the holy year of Sabbath on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkoth in 2007, and her four horses aligned with the four horsemen in the book of Revelations. Crosses started appearing and the Star of David in the lines of Lake's hands. She had visions from God--most amazingly, one was about a new border for Israel.
"I have had more dreams and visions come true since moving to my farm in West Virginia. In one, the Lord showed me a new border for Israel," Lake said. "It was drawn by His own hand for all to see. It follows an earthquake like that took place in February 2008." These miraculous signs lead to one question--are the Days of our Lord at hand?
Melissa W. Lake was raised in the Midwestern United States and Pennsylvania. She moved to Florida in her teens, where she later earned her associate's degree in legal studies. She moved from Florida in 2004 to a farm in West Virginia, where she homeschools her two youngest children and tends to her animals.
