I was recently sent an article to read that was located in the "The Christian Anarchist Reader." I thought that the author's approach to his faith was rather interesting, and so today I provide readers with the link to the site and one paragraph that might give you insight into the author's mindset.
For our purpose here, then, anarchism isn't only a matter of rejecting the human tendency toward the centralization of power in a socio-political sense. That's certainly a factor, of course, but the closer we look the more clearly we will see that this consolidation of power exists in every institutional endeavor. What does the kingdom of God stand to gain from this? Is the Spirit of Christ divided? Is his power diluted among us such that we must pool it together in sufficient quantities before he can act? It is he who unites us, not the other way around.
