Why is our government closing military bases in the United States to save money while it is spending billions of dollars building 13 huge permanent military bases in Afghanistan. These bases are being built in the provinces of Helmand, Herat, Nimnuz, Balkh, Khowst, and Paktika.

Four of the bases will be built for the Afghan National Army. These bases are being built in Herat, Gardez,Quandahar and Mazar-e-Sharif. Why has our ever vigilant media failed to tell the American people of this vast expansion of American military bases? Where will the military get the manpower needed to man nine new military bases overseas? Will this create a need for conscription? Will this create a need for higher taxes to pay the billions this will require?

When will our president tell us of this vast undertaking? Maybe some of you blind, loyal party members can explain these secret undertakings. I would sure appreciate some answers.

For the rest of the story read the July 4th issue of the American Free Press, Page 1: Petro-Military Empire Flexing World Muscle.
