Who to Vote For?

Many people are finding difficult to find a fit person to vote for as president of the United States.

If they listen to the republicans, all they can say is that the democrats candidates for president and vice president are not good Americans. They betray our country by voting against all defense measures. They continually vote to raise our taxes. John Kerry himself is a traitor by working and demonstrating against his fellow Viet Nam veterans. They vote against our soldiers fighting in Iraq and they will increase the number of soldiers in Iraq by over 40,000 men. The republicans will promise the people everything, but they will give the people nothing.

Everything they say is negative.

Meanwhile all you hear from the democrats is that George Bush is a draft dodger who went into the National Guard to hide from service in Viet Nam and then did not live up to his commitment. Bush is a liar who used false information to get us into a war in Iraq for the purpose of controlling that countries oil. Bush wants to rape American environmental laws by drilling for more oil and poisoning the air. Vice President Cheney is a tool of Halliburton and is the man running our presidency. The democrats will promise the people everything, but they will give the people nothing.

Again, everything they say is negative.

Now we must listen to this diatribe on all the news stations all day and every day. They praise one candidate while tearing the other apart, depending on who is paying them at the time.

The media will not tell the people that there are other candidates running for president who are sincere, patriotic Americans. In the so-called debates, neither of the major parties would allow these other candidates to participate, as they did not want to discuss the real issues facing America today. These two men, Bush and Kerry, talk a lot but they say nothing except to tear the other man down. Is this what America wants and deserves? Will the media ever allow the people to hear from these other candidates? Will the American people continue to follow these party leaders loyally but blindly?

Millions of Americans say we need third parties to straighten things out, but at the same time they say these third parties cannot win so they will vote for the lesser of the two evils that are given to us as a choice.

This is the attitude that has and will continue to prevent the third parties from being heard, while the two evils lead us further into the morass of foreign interference and debt.

They will continue to create further hatred for America and more terrorist attacks. As has been said before, we do get the kind of government we deserve and vote for.
