Stupidity, Greed or Treason?

Stupidity, greed or treason? Many of our leaders in Washington, and in some of our state capitals, are guilty of one or more of these three charges. Many of our leaders are either stupid, greedy or have betrayed our Constitution and we the people. In what way you ask? The answer is very simple and very obvious. Our lawmakers have been making laws that are not Constitutional and are very injurious to the states and to the people.

Our leaders are entering into treaties with foreign countries that overide our Constitution and our state laws. Our leaders are taking our tax dollars and using this money to subsidize the movement of our manufacturing base to other countries. What in our constitution gives our leaders that right?

Our leaders are sending billions of our tax dollars to foreign countries in the form of aid while millions of our people in this country are in want of food, heat and housing. What in our Constitution gives our leaders this right<

Our leaders are putting millions of acres of our land under the control of foreign nations. Our leaders are putting millions of acres of our lands under government control and denying private taxpaying land owners use of their own land. Our leaders are claiming control of millions of acres of our wetlands and denying all people use of these lands. Our leaders in Washington are usurping many states rights not given to them under our constitution. At one time the states had control of all hunting laws in their state. Our leaders in Washington now claim much of that right through migratory game bird laws and the Endangered Species Act. What in our Constitution gives our leaders that right?

Our leaders in Washington have totally ignored our Constitution and turned the right to declare war over to one single man. What in our Constitution gives them this right. If they do not have the stomach for the job, they should quit playing statesman and go home. We could go on for many pages with unconstitutional acts but we ask, is this stupidity, greed or treason?

It could very well be stupidity. As we listen to our leaders that are running for reelection and listen to the charges and counter charges it seems that these people that want to lead us are not really all that bright, moral or dedicated to America. How many evil dictators has our leaders built up and supported only to have them betray us later? This is a sign of intelligence?

Could it be greed? That is a distinct possibility. A large voting majority in both the Senate and the House of Representatives are multi-millionaires with some billionaires. A large part of them were not so rich when they got elected. Does greed and graft play a very large part in their decision making? The Clintons became multi-millionaires while in office, some say by selling military secrets to China. George Bush is making millions of dollars with his family oil holdings. Would this be greed or treason?

Could it be just plain treason? If we look at the way our leaders have given aid and secrets to countries that have declared us as their enemy and if you look at the way our past and present leaders have built up the communist Soviet Union, a case could be made for treason. If you look at the way our leaders are building up China by transferring military and business secrets and subsidizing American businesses moving to China with American tax dollars, a case could be made for treason.

So, I will ask the people, Are our leaders guilty of stupidity, greed or treason? I would like to hear some opinions both pro and con.
