Guerrila War: Why?

England fought a long guerrilla war with the American Colonies. Even though they had overwhelming man power and fire power and  won virtually every pitched battle with the colonials they lost the war.

France fought a long guerrilla war in south east Asia. Even though they had overwhelming man power and fire power and won every pitched battle and held all the defensive positions, they lost the war.

Russia fought a long guerrilla war with the Chechens. Even though they had overwhelming man power and fire power and won every pitched battle, they lost the war.

America fought a guerrilla war with the North Vietnamese. Even though they had overwhelming man power and fire power and held every defensive position and won every major battle, they lost the war.

America is now fighting another guerrilla war in Iraq. Why is this war being fought? Can America win this new guerrilla war? How many billions of dollars will this attempt to win a guerrilla war cost American taxpayers.

Who is making a profit from this war besides the international bankers and the military-indusrial complex? Are their sons and daughters on the front lines in this guerrilla war? What former United States president warned us of this very duo? Who first said the following? "Follow the money"

The United States now has troops in 142 countries. Why? Has America become an imperial nation? I know of no other country that has ever had occupying troops in this many other nations. Not even the former imperial nation of Great Britan occupied this many foreign countries and look where they are today. A virtually bankrupt nation that depends largely upon the United States for it's very existence.

Why did our congress not declare war if it believed that war was neccessary? Why did it abdicate it's constitutional duty and responsibility and surrender that power to the president?

Can a nation send it's troops into a sovereign nation and defeat a large group of determined patriotic fighters? It may be possible but history does not produce any evidence of a sucessful war against a large guerrilla force. A guerrilla force can strike any where at any time and simply melt back into the civilian population. An occupying force must operate from fortified defensive positions and march forth marked by their uniforms and like the red coats did for the colonials, they make excellent targets.

I do not know how long this war will last. I do not know what it's out-come will be. I do not know how many people ' American, Iraqi. and others will die, but, I do know who will make billions of dollars from this war. That WILL be the international bankers who will finance both sides in this war and the military industrialists who will arm both sides in this war and the vast majority of the people of all nations either cannot or will not see this and history will repeat it's self once again. The rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer and die.
