The publicity material for this book spells out quite clearly what this book is about when it says:
- "Tormented Prison" is Gram's heart-touching personal story and serves as a reminder to people everywhere: You can overcome the odds. Gram has endured a great deal of suffering in her life. She was abused physically and verbally, suffered from a Dissociative Identity Disorder and was raised by the high priest and priestess of a satanic cult. Nothing short of tortured, it is amazing that Gram has even survived to share her story.
Although this is a short story of only 146 pages, the message that it contains will stay in your mind for a very long time.
This is a very difficult story to read because it is about a small child who is a victim from the very day of her birth.
As a mother myself, I found some of "Sky's" story too graphic to even read but as the old saying goes, "fore warned is fore armed."
We should all be aware that not all children are given the same start in life and the little girl in this story certainly wasn't.
Would I recommend this story to others? YES!
Sky Gram was born in 1965 and grew up in the Midwest. Having overcome tremendous obstacles, today Gram holds her bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration. Outside of work, Gram loves photography, being with her family, nature and animals.
