The publicity material for "Grand-ma-MA's Adventures with her Grand-Grand Girls" written by GigiK states that it is the first book in a series of four that highlights the special, unending bond between a grandmother and her granddaughter and I am pleased to say that I have now read two of this author's wonderful books.
I have just finished reading both "Grand-ma-Ma and Her Grand-grand-Kids" and "Grand-ma-Ma's Adventures With Her Grand-Grand Girls."
These two volumes by GigiK, are wonderful in every respect. They are colorful, beautifully illustrated and she also took the time to write in such a way that most of the sentences rhymed, and children of all ages especially love that.
According to the information I received, GigiK has twelve grandchildren spread over three continents, and she wrote these books as a way to share with them how much she cared for them and how often she thought about them.
I loved the fact that she incorporated multicultural ethnicities in the drawings so that anyone in any place around our vast planet can relate to the story line.
Not only are the covers well-drawn and colorful, but the inner pages are also and I especially loved the crisp, smooth pages of the books. First class all the way.
Would I recommend these books to others? ABSOLUTELY!
