This, "One chance, One Moment, The Mandy Story" is such an interesting story, in that, as one delves deeper into the story line, the reader found it difficult to put the story down.
I found myself hurrying to get my household work completed so that I could resume the story again and that sadly, from all the books I review, doesn't happen very often.
This is a story that uses many adjectives because it is filled with life-changing guilt, mystery, deep love and even deeper hatred and the characters as well as their personal feelings are well described and interesting.
I hated to see the story end but conversely, I couldn't wait to get to the final chapter to see how Amber and Garry, the love of her life, worked things out.
As the author noted in her "press release" this book was first written in 1986 and revisions were made several times over the ensuing years but I can now state, the "wait" and the reworking were well-worth it.
Would I recommend this book to others? ABSOLUTELY!
Wondeful work, wonderful presentation and am waiting for the next!
