How about this New Year? About time they hit the AIG executives with a 90% tax increase on their bonuses.

Looks good on the surface. Sounds great too, on the surface that is.

Remember that income they make is primarily spent here. These executives use that income to purchase pricey penthouse suites. They use it to buy pricey private jets. And of course they wine and dine 'till the cows come home.

That money folks is spendable income. Trickle-down purchases make a capitalistic country function. When this money is no longer available to be pumped back into the American economy and those high-priced items are not being purchased and that money is returned to the feds via this 90% tax, do you think the impact will be felt on our economy? I do and here is why. In my area, we have second homeowners, the 'wealthy elite'. And those wealthy elite actually pay the Lions Share of taxes in my county. Not the 'workers', but the elite. Remove the elite from elite status and guess who will carry an increased tax load? We, the workers will because local, state and federal government never met a tax they do not like. And even when these taxes are paid in full, they are renewed with interest! Look at toll roads for example. They are initially toll roads because the toll fees are used to pay off the cost of their construction. How long have Americans been paying the Chicago toll? But the thing that should grab your attention is this. If the House can pass a 90% tax in a single day against bank employees, they can do the same thing to the rest of us.

And speaking of the current administration in America, let's take a hard look at our president. He promised change. Well, we got change all right! Are you sure it is what you expected though? Obama runs with an interesting crowd. Before Obama was elected, I questioned his ties with ACORN for I knew he was their paid employee. Not a just a "Community Organizer but he, as an attorney, represented ACORN in Illinois as well. I questioned his ties to Bill Ayers . You should too. Ayers is still under investigation for being a domestic (meaning American-bred) terrorist. And now we learn from the Associated Press that the White House knew for a few months about the executive bonuses. When were they planning on disclosing that to us, as we paid for these bonuses? See, I think they planned to say nada. Not to mention-Dodd says Obama is the reason behind the mega-bonus AIG season. And we learned that Dodd was the highest recipient of AIG money.  So why did that amendment slip into these Kings Ransoms of Bonuses for the AIG executives again? I think you might want to ask Obama 'bout that. And while we discuss the World of Big Business and Big Brother let's talk about this as well. Why is ACORN, King of Fraud, a national partner with the U.S. Census Bureau for 2010? I smell a rat.

So how about this New Year's folks. Do you suppose Obama, King of Change and honored celebrity guest on Jay Leno's Tonight Show has any more New Year Resolutions for us?

For the sake of the American 'workers' I can only hope not.
