In over our heads? That’s an understatement. The entire Middle East is in a mess. Now, for the first time in a long time, the President has decided to sit back, throw the Secretary of State into the crosshairs, and hope for some kind of action. What? No troops? this is amazing.
The fact of the matter is that he, and being the only one I might add is supporting Israel’s actions of bombing Lebanon in hopes of some kind of deactivation of Hezzbolah. America needs to remember that everyone doesn’t handle their problems in a diplomatic way, and when terrorism is involved, hey, the gloves got to come off and you have to show these folks that you’re not going to be a victim. The sorrow for the 200 or so civlians come from the old trick of "Put the terrorists in the crowd and make them shoot us, and then say, "Look, they’re killing innocent civilans."
Good try Hezzbollah, but it’s not new.
The real problems are going on behind the scenes--Syria, Cuba, Iran..remember those guys? I’m sure you do.
I think America as a whole is trying to put their hands in too many things. We still haven’t secured Iraq and now that’s yesterday’s news. Wow, 2,000 of our people have died over there and I have to wait until the B-Team anchors come on at night just to get an update.
