As a new feature in the Magic City Morning Star, we will be including profiles of Appalachian Trail hikers who stop by at our Hard Drive Cafe, located in the lower level of 133 Penobscot Avenue, in Millinocket, Maine. We hope you enjoy it.
The Magic City Morning Star & Hard Drive Cafe offers a variety of coffee, soft drinks, water, and juice, as well as high-speed Internet access and other services.
We encourage hikers to sign our hiker's log, and to use us as a mail drop ($3.00). A hiker's box will be available soon.
We're located in the lower level of 133 Penobscot Avenue, at the intersection of Spruce & Penobscot, across the street from the post office. Beginning next week, the cafe will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day but Sunday.
